How do you know if you need an auto transmission replacement? The easiest way is if the check engine light comes on. But your vehicle might tell you in more subtle ways that it requires maintenance. You might notice it isn’t as powerful as it used to be, or it isn’t as fuel-efficient. Maybe it smells like it’s burning, or it sounds different.
When you bring in your vehicle, we will run a computer diagnostic test to uncover what’s wrong, and then we will proceed to steer you in the right direction to keep your transmission in working condition. It may be that your transmission simply needs service, such as a transmission flush to clear out any buildup, or a transmission fluid and filter change, which is recommended on a regular basis by your vehicle’s manufacturer.
